1938 Schwinn Motorbike Deluxe

One of 6 bikes a purchased from a basement in Reno, Nevada.  One of the best selling prewar bikes that Schwinn ever produced.  Frank Schwinn thought this bike was the embodiment of making a bicycle look like a lightweight motorcycle.  Notice the streamlined tank and the use of the term Motorbike even though it does not have a motor.  Bike came with a Delta Horn-lite and a chromed rear carrier.  One of Schwinn best looking prewar bikes. Sold to a collector near Omaha, Neb.
